It’s a balmy 92 degrees here in Vero Beach today. Although many of our volunteers have gone north to cooler climes for a few months, we are lucky to have great volunteers  who still show up every Tuesday and Thursday morning (and other times as well) to work on whatever projects need attention in our shop or on the waterfront.

Lately, volunteers have been fixing outboards for our chase boats, building storage units for the 420 sails, painting one of the Mariners, sanding and varnishing boats, derigging 420s to be hurricane-ready, treating and replenishing fuel, and doing waterfront maintenance. That’s just where the list starts!

Larry Kiefer does a great job of heading up our shop crew and focusing efforts where they are most needed.

YSFIRC loves its volunteers!!!!
