Everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the freedom and exhilaration of sailing. At YSF, we make that possible for individuals with disabilities through specially trained instructors and uniquely equipped sailboats. Our adaptive sailing program is open to all and tailored to meet individual needs. Caregivers are also welcome to join in the experience.
All Adaptive Programs are free to residents of Indian River County.
Everyone should have the opportunity to experience the freedom and exhilaration that sailing can provide. YSF makes that possible for sailors with disabilities with our specially trained instructors and uniquely equipped sailboats. Adaptive sailors can choose to sail on a Hansa, Hobie Wave, or a Mariner 19’. Caregivers are welcome to watch the sailing from one of our power boats.
Summer adaptive sailing is from June 1st – July 7th on Mondays and Tuesdays.
- Sailors can sign up for one-hour sails starting at 9 am with the last sail at 10 am on Mondays and 9 am with the last sail at 10 am on Tuesdays.
